2010 Prudential Marketing Award



We'd like to thank everyone for a great 2010 and for supporting our blog. Prudential recently recognized us with the 2010 Marketing Award and it wouldn't have been possible without all our friends, families and awesome clients. So thanks again and here are the tools we use to market homes.

Ever Wonder What Goes into a Successful Real Estate Listing?

Stick a “For Sale” sign in front of your house and it will automatically sell, right? Not exactly. Instead of relying on only one form of marketing for the home you have for sale, we use several proven ways to bring much better and quicker results than you might expect.

The 1-800 Number on the Sign

You can’t drive by one of the Elliott team’s “For Sale” signs without seeing the distinctive 1-800 number. There is a reason for that: it drives sales to your home. It’s an excellent way to tell the world that your home is for sale. We receive many calls just from this one marketing method.

Prudential Website

The Prudential name means something with consumers. It has a reputation for excellence in home sales and customer satisfaction. My Prudential affiliated website that potential homebuyers visit shows that we are a reputable real estate company. Many times that fact gets us in the door with potential customers and it allows us to show them your home.

The Team Elliott Website

When people visit our website, they can easily see we are no one man (or woman!) show. In fact, we have several agents diligently working to get your home sold.

Our website doesn’t contain a lot of fluff about how great we are at what we do. In fact, it shows where homes in the Omaha area are for sale. If you’re selling your home, it will show up on the Team Elliott website so potential buyers can see it. We give detailed information on the homes we have listed and, in some cases, we offer video tours. This gives potential buyers a glimpse into a home before they commit to a tour. This is a very valuable marketing tool.

The 4114Homes Website

A term commonly known among real estate agents is the “4114 website.” What does this somewhat generic sounding name mean? This is a powerful website that lists multiple home listings all over the US. That means if someone in Davenport, Iowa is contemplating a move to Omaha, NB they can go to the website and find your home.

These potential buyers don’t need to know anything about Team Elliott since they aren’t located in Omaha. They simply need to type in the Omaha zip code they are interested in buying in (an easy to use zip code finder is also located on the website) and the 4114 site will automatically pull up any homes for sale in that area. This is a powerful tool for getting your home noticed by many potential buyers, including those outside of Omaha.

Team Elliott Brochures

While the Internet has replaced many forms of print advertising, a simple brochure left in key locations can reach people who are away from their online search tools or, for some reason, don’t use the Internet. Often these simple pieces of paper can be key in simply introducing the Team Elliott name to a potential buyer.
